Great feeling to be traveling again! And what a way to start! Coming to Aschaffenberg and seeing friends again was just the right way of beginning this travel. Tom and Elenea:Thank you!!!! Please let me make it up to you sometime! Next summer you will have to come to Norway!
Tom and Elena invited me already last year to come to the stadtfest in Ashaffenberg,and this year i did the right thing. Great party,lots of good livemusic and a bunch of happy people in the streets of this cosy little town. Great hospitality! It felt like i was a long time member of the family coming home!
Arrrived Thessaloniki in the afternoon and had a fun taxidrive with a PAOK-supporter. (as you all now my footballteam played PAOK in a qualifier for the europe leauge. Result was bad,but...)
Jumped a bus for Kavala ,and arrived 2 hours later just missing the last ferry to Thassos. Had to find a cheap guesthouse,had a pita gyro and went straight to bed. (needed the rest after the stadtfest...). News before going to bed was that there was no boats to Thassos on a monday.... But after asking around today there seems to be a boat at 1200 today,so i am packing and going on.
Have not been doing too much research about Thassos so i am curious about what this island have to offer. Expecting nature,beaches,small villages and good food.
Next report will tell if my expectations are fulfilled......
