Tour de Thasos.

I was to restless to even start my day at the beach,so i rented a mountainbike (without brakes...) and just went cyckling without a map or plan. After a while i saw this village in the mountains and then climbed the hills on lowest gear to get there. Arriving i saw this beautiful mountain wich i found out i just had to climb. Started climbing the hillside and realised i forgot to fill my waterbottle,but carried on. wasn't steep or technical or anything,but wow it was hot! Luckily the hillside was covered with big pinetrees,so i had some shadow. Did not see anyone else stupid enough to go climbing on such a hot day,so i had the mountain for myself. Going down again on that rotten old bike i realised there were almost no brakes! So the ride back down to the coast went in highspeed! Some farmers were yelling something to me,but there was no way to stop for a chat.... Survived the ride,but wont do that again.... All and all 3 hours cyckling and the climb wich took one hour. The swim afterwards was GOOD! Active day! I might eat something unhealthy and have some beers. Going on to Alexandroupoli tomorrow.
